My project is called Encouragement. I created it to help people feel happy when they are sad. When you press button A, a smiling face appears on the Micro:bit, making you want to smile too. Button B shows the encouraging words: “You are brave, you are smart, and you are you.” Pressing both buttons plays a cheerful tune I composed called The Humming of Harmony. This project combines visual, textual, and audio encouragement to brighten someone’s day, reminding them that they are unique, valued, and capable of feeling joy even in tough moments.

The finder and reminder

I am presenting my project called “The Reminder and Finder.” I chose this project because people often forget things or lose items, and this project helps remind us and guide us to find them. Using the micro:bit, I programmed buttons to pick random numbers and show reminders, pictures, music, and arrows. The arrows give directions, and the reminders help us remember important things. This project shows how coding can help solve real-life problems in a fun way.

Hello everyone! My name is Muhluri Siwele. I am 9 years old and in Grade 5. I live in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. My show and tell project is called the Magic Eight Ball. It is a fun project that uses Python and a random number generator. The program chooses a random number from 1 to 4. Each number gives a different answer. One displays “Yes,” two displays “No,” three displays “Maybe,” and four displays “Try Again.” I used the random module in my code to make the answers unpredictable. I can ask my Magic Eight Ball questions about weather or anything else and see what answer it gives me.

Hi everyone! My name is Muhluri Siwele, I am 9 years old, and I live in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Today I am excited to present my Pac-Man game made with a micro. When the game starts, the micro shows a Pac-Man icon and welcomes the player. Then Pac-Man and a ghost appear in random positions. I control Pac-Man by tilting the micro using its accelerometer. My goal is to move Pac-Man and catch the ghost. When Pac-Man touches the ghost, the score increases by one, a check mark appears, and music plays. The game then resets and continues, making it fun and interactive.
