My project is called Encouragement. I created it to help people feel happy when they are sad. When you press button A, a smiling face appears on the Micro:bit, making you want to smile too. Button B shows the encouraging words: “You are brave, you are smart, and you are you.” Pressing both buttons plays a cheerful tune I composed called The Humming of Harmony. This project combines visual, textual, and audio encouragement to brighten someone’s day, reminding them that they are unique, valued, and capable of feeling joy even in tough moments.

I created Encouragement, a Micro:bit invention designed to cheer people up when they feel sad or discouraged. I chose this project because I wanted to make something that spreads positivity. We all have moments when we feel down, and I thought a small, interactive device could help lift someone’s spirits.
The Encourage Bit works with three buttons. Pressing button A displays a smiling face on the Micro:bit screen. Seeing the smile is meant to make people smile back, because happiness is contagious. When you press button B, a motivational message appears: “You are brave, you are smart, and you are you.” I chose these words to remind people of their strengths and uniqueness, highlighting that everyone has their own special qualities.
