Wade Klein

Wade Klein is the president and founder of College Bound Consultants, LLC, an independent college counseling practice he established in 1998 that has achieved a 94.3% success rate in helping students gain admission to their top choice colleges and a 100% success rate in gaining admission to at least one of their top three choice institutions. Through intensive counseling and testing, Wade and his team enable students to discover which careers, college majors and colleges are best suited to their academic, professional, personal, learning and financial needs. In addition to leading his consulting practice, Wade has served since 2006 as Director of College Services and School Counselor at the High School for Math, Science and Engineering at The City College of New York, a specialized high school combining rigorous STEM programming with an ambitious humanities curriculum. In this role, he is responsible for all college-related counseling and programming, academic advising, AP and PSAT exam administration, individual and family counseling, special education student support, crisis team participation and pupil personnel team membership. He also supervises, trains and recruits graduate students in School Counseling and Guidance Masters Degree programs to meet New York State certification requirements and serves as a CACREP Advisor for the Hunter Graduate School of Education. Prior to this role, Wade worked for six years as a guidance and college counselor at the High School for Environmental Studies.
