About Andrea Feeney

Andrea Feeney is the founder of San Francisco Admissions Advisors, where she provides personalized college counseling to students and families in the Bay Area and beyond. She draws on more than four decades of professional and community leadership in education administration, nonprofit management, board governance and volunteer coordination to guide students through one of the most important transitions of their lives. Her practice combines structured planning with warmth and clear communication so families feel informed and supported at every step.

Since 2009, Andrea has advised high school students as an independent college counselor with a particular focus on learning differences, transfer pathways, international applicants and first-generation students. Her school-based roles at Woodside International School and Lycée Français de San Francisco added deep experience with global curricula, bilingual environments and complex application systems. She has managed tools such as Naviance and University of California course submissions, coordinated testing accommodations and supported students in selective programs such as the Congressional Award.

Andrea also brings significant board and community leadership through long-term service with the Junior League of San Francisco and the Volunteer Center of San Francisco and San Mateo Counties. Earlier legal training and practice sharpened her ability to read fine print, interpret policies and explain processes in accessible language. This blend of counseling, admissions operations, legal analysis and nonprofit governance allows her to advocate effectively for students with varied profiles and needs.
