Vaibhav (VR) M Portfolio on Moonpreneur

About

Hello, my name is Vaibhav, and I’m 15 years old. I’m an upcoming sophomore in high school. I created a project called a campus assistant robot, which helps students navigate around school easily. This robot uses sensors like the MPU 6050 to detect movement, tilt, and obstacles, helping guide students safely to their classrooms. It can also provide useful information such as schedules and locations using Python-based programming. The goal of this project is to make school environments easier to navigate, especially for new students, while also improving safety and accessibility through smart technology and simple, efficient design.

Showcasing the IR Sensor

Hello, my name is Vaibhav and today I am presenting my show and tell project. My project is about using an IR sensor with an Arduino robot car to detect obstacles and count objects. The IR sensor helps the robot move safely by detecting objects before it crashes, similar to a robotic vacuum. I used an Arduino car kit, jumper wires, and an IR sensor to build this project. I also programmed the motors to move forward or stop depending on the sensor input. Additionally, I created a system to count objects detected and display the total on an I2C LCD screen.

Smart Doorbell

Vaibhav’s Smart Doorbell enhances home security using an Arduino Uno, sensors, and LEDs. The system detects motion near the door and automatically alerts the homeowner with a buzzer and visual LED notifications. It can also display messages on an LCD screen or send alerts to connected devices for remote monitoring. Future upgrades could include wireless communication for smartphone notifications or even facial recognition, taking home security to the next level!

Health band

My project Health Band is designed to help people stay healthy by reminding them to drink water regularly. I used a Raspberry Pi Pico, a push button, a buzzer, an LED bar graph, an LED, and a liquid crystal display (LCD). Every few seconds, the health band alerts the user with a buzzer sound and flashing LEDs to remind them to drink water. The LED bar graph shows progress, and the LCD displays motivational messages. Once the daily goal of eight glasses is reached, the system plays a tone and allows the user to restart.

Jim's paint problem

My project is a distance sensor designed to help Jim, a painter, calculate the area of walls in his house and estimate the painting cost. Using a Moonpreneur prototyping kit, I built a model with an ultrasonic sensor, push buttons, LEDs, and an Arduino Mini. The sensor measures wall dimensions automatically, and the code calculates the area and cost, with options to change units and currency. This project demonstrates real-world applications in architecture and engineering. By following the design process—empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test—I created a functional tool that is portable, interactive, and educati

Auto Wind Shield Wipers

In this presentation, Vaibhav introduces an automatic windshield wiper system that uses a temperature sensor and servo motor to activate wipers only during cold or rainy conditions—specifically when temperatures drop below 32°F. Controlled by an Arduino microcontroller, the system automates wiper movement to reduce energy consumption and mechanical wear. Vaibhav demonstrates the project using real-time temperature adjustments and explains the code structure, including sensor readings, motor activation, and a manual override (kill switch). This smart, responsive system improves efficiency and driver convenience, offering a practical example of how environmental sensing can enhance everyday technology.
