Hello everyone, my name is Roberto. I am 9 years old, and I enjoy coding, playing games, drawing, and creating fun projects inspired by my favorite characters and animals. In this project, I used my creativity and programming skills to build something interactive and exciting. I learned new coding concepts while making it, and I am happy to share my project with you today. Thank you.

Roberto, a lively and creative student, presented his project “My Pet Hamster.” Though he doesn’t actually have a hamster, he used the micro:bit to bring an imaginary one to life, inspired by his real dog Alpha and fish Robbie. Using coding blocks, he created random hamster “choices” triggered by button presses. Each choice displayed an icon and played a unique piece of music—including fun references like Pac-Man sounds. He used variables, random number functions, show icons, and melody blocks to give his hamster personality. With slides and code, Roberto showed both technical effort and playful imagination, making his project stand out.
Hi, my name is Roberto. I am a student and I like cool and interesting things. One of my favorite shows is Stranger Things because it has amazing monsters that are both cute and fierce. I also love animals, and I have a dog and a fish at home. I am Mexican, and I enjoy learning about different places like Japan and Hawaii because they are hot, fun, and interesting. In my project, I made a game called Stranger Things Bit where you grow your own demodog pet. I hope you enjoy my presentation and have fun learning about my project today.
