Bozeman High School is a top public high school in Bozeman, Montana, for students in grades 9 through 12. It is one of the best schools in the state, with about 1,300 students and a student-to-teacher ratio of about 15:1. The school is known as one of the best because it has a very high level of academic rigor and offers a lot of Advanced Placementcourses, with 53% of students taking them. 15% of the students are minorities, and 7% are considered to be economically disadvantaged. Bozeman High School has impressive academic results, with 79% of students reading at or above grade level and 54% of students doing well in math. Organized ACT and SAT testing helps students reach their college goals even more. The school is in a neighborhood that values education highly, so the atmosphere is both competitive and helpful. In 2026, Bozeman High School will start the TEACH Bozeman Scholarship Program. This program will give $20,000 over four years to graduates who want to get education degrees and then come back to teach in the local district. The school is also getting ready for a change in its daily routine. Starting in the fall of 2026, there will be no cell phone days at school to help students stay focused and healthy. Students are also learning specialized job skills through the opening of a new construction academy, where they can get hands-on training in trades like plumbing and electrical work.
