With a population of about 56,000, Bozeman is one of the fastest-growing cities in the West. It has a high-tech economy and is close to world-class skiing. The high schools in the city are some of the best in Montana. They always do better than other districts in math and English. There are two big public high schools and a lot of specialized charter and private schools. The focus is on academic excellence, STEM, and a huge range of extracurricular activities like speech and debate.
