Lexington, Kentucky, is a lively city with about 320,000 people living in the city. It has a mix of historic charm and a busy cultural, educational, and family-oriented lifestyle. Fayette County Public Schools serves the area. There are about 12 public middle schools, as well as many charter and private schools. The district puts a lot of stress on academics, diversity, the arts, sports, and other activities outside of school. Lexington also has family-friendly neighborhoods and cultural institutions and is close to the University of Kentucky, which are all good things. Lexington is a great place for families looking for a good middle school because of its strong community and educational resources.
