Joe Snyder

Joe Snyder is a college counselor at NSU University School, where he supports high school students in Fort Lauderdale through every stage of the college admissions process. He combines classroom insight, research training and strategic advising skills to help students build thoughtful college lists, plan rigorous yet manageable coursework and present compelling applications that reflect their strengths. His counseling practice emphasizes clear communication, realistic planning and strong student-school fit.

Before joining NSU University School, Joe worked as a college admissions consultant with Spark Admissions, guiding students and families nationwide through selective college admissions. He previously served as a consultant with Boston Consulting Group and as a PhD candidate in history at Princeton University, experiences that sharpened his analytical skills, writing expertise and ability to coach students through complex projects such as personal statements and research-based honors applications.
