Shveta Bagade

Shveta Bagade has been an Independent College Counselor at SMB College Consulting in the San Francisco Bay Area since August 2017. She provides personalized guidance to high school students navigating the college admissions process, drawing from her Berkeley Extension Certificate in College Counseling, completed from 2016 to 2018. From August 2014 to June 2023, she volunteered as College and Career Center support at Prospect High School in Saratoga, California, assisting students with post-secondary planning. Her volunteer experience demonstrates her commitment to helping local students access higher education opportunities.

Before transitioning to college counseling, Shveta worked in various positions at NOVA Chemicals from October 1996 to October 1998, bringing analytical and professional skills from her engineering background to her counseling practice. She holds a BS in Materials Engineering from Drexel University, earned from 1987 to 1992.
