About Diana Wuerthner
Diana Wuerthner has served as the sole College Counselor at Credo High School since July 2020. She advises 200 juniors and seniors through every stage of admissions, from exploration to final decisions. Diana introduces college readiness to 9th and 10th graders, building long-term planning foundations. Her student-centered approach helps diverse students identify best-fit colleges and craft compelling applications.
She hosts workshops on Common App, UC/CSU applications, essays, and financial aid. Diana develops resources for first-generation families and serves as CCGI Communications Lead. She organizes College Info Nights, Cash4College events, mock admissions case studies, and annual college fairs. Diana writes 30-40 counselor recommendations annually and coordinates college representative visits.
Diana also worked as a college counselor at San Francisco Waldorf School from 2018 to 2020, advising 40 seniors annually. She provides freelance essay coaching through College Calm and currently works part-time as a Librarian at Sonoma County Library. Her degrees in US History and Library Science inform her research-driven counseling approach.
