Automatic Trash Bin

Vedanta's Automatic Trash Bin revolutionizes waste disposal with touch-free convenience. This smart system uses ultrasonic sensing to detect approaching objects within 20cm, triggering a servo motor to smoothly open the lid without any physical contact. After seven seconds of inactivity, the lid quietly closes itself, combining hygiene with hands-free operation in one elegant solution.

PROTOTYPE VERIFIED

Auto return express

Vedanta’s show-and-tell project, “Auto Return Express,” is a smart vehicle that can automatically drive forward and then return to its starting point without human control. Using a microcontroller, motor driver, and sensors or timed logic, Vedanta programs the car to move ahead for a set distance or time, then reverse or turn and come back. LEDs or a display can show its status, while clear code structure handles start, travel, turn, and return phases. “Auto Return Express” is a fun way to learn about automation, motion control, and how delivery or shuttle robots can retrace their paths safely.
