Pacrun
Hrishi, a 9-year-old student, created a Pac-Man game using MakeCode blocks on the micro:bit. In this game, Pac-Man chases a ghost sprite that moves randomly. The ghost runs away when Pac-Man gets too close, adding challenge to the game. Hrishi programmed the game to start with a countdown and track the player’s score whenever Pac-Man catches the ghost. Movement is controlled by the accelerometer’s X and Y values, moving Pac-Man across the grid. Hrishi faced some challenges with smooth movement but showcased strong problem-solving skills and understanding of sprites, game logic, and user interaction.
