Seattle is Washington's biggest city and a major hub for technology, education, and international trade. There are two big companies in the city: Amazon and Microsoft. The city is between Puget Sound and Lake Washington, and its economy is based on new ideas. Seattle is home to people from many different backgrounds. The city values public education, fairness, and learning in a multicultural environment very highly. The city schools often show how open-minded they are by offering international studies and language immersion programs. Seattle has a lot of parks by the water, a lot of art, and a strong focus on being environmentally friendly. This lets students learn about culture, be creative, and learn in the real world. Seattle also has the best elementary schools in Washington.
