A science and STEM teacher at Eagle Valley Middle School, Ms. Amy Riddle, received a $5,000 grant from the Rotary Club of Carson City to fund a student-led water quality monitoring station on the Carson River. This initiative will give students hands-on experience with environmental science and citizen science research.
