Rogers-Herr Middle School received the national “School to Watch” designation for academic excellence and student success. Ms. Hill and Ms. Tabetha Jones-Evans received top teaching awards, and eighth-grade students learned about STEM careers by engaging in hands-on science and technology activities with RTI International’s Students@Work program.
Rogers-Herr Middle School is getting a lot of attention for its new way of teaching! The Forest at Duke recently gave the school a $20,000 grant to use digital educational resources and technology to help students learn better in all subjects. This grant will help pay for subscriptions to educational websites like iEdPuzzle, Quizizz, Flocabulary, and Delta Math.
