Apex Friendship High School is a public high school in Apex, North Carolina. It is part of the Wake County Public School System and serves students in grades 9–12. The school opened to help the area grow quickly. It has about 2,200 to 2,400 students and a student-teacher ratio of about 17:1. It has modern facilities and a modern learning environment. Apex Friendship High School has a full college-preparatory and career-preparatory curriculum that includes Advanced Placement (AP) classes, career and technical education (CTE) pathways, fine arts, and sports. The school puts a lot of stress on academic rigor, career readiness, and getting students involved. There are a lot of clubs and leadership opportunities outside of school. The students come from a variety of backgrounds, just like the people who live in Apex and the surrounding Triangle area. About 64% of students are good at math, and about 85% are good at reading (ELA). Apex Friendship High School is a public school that gets money from the state and local governments for education. Students take college-readiness tests like the SAT and ACT. You can also explore the best middle schools in Apex.
