The Association for Middle Level Education (AMLE) recently named Kaimuki Middle School in Honolulu, Hawaii, a "School of Distinction" for 2025. This has caused a lot of buzz. This prestigious award shows how dedicated the school is to making a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel supported, challenged, and inspired. "STAR time" is a daily period at the school that combines study hall, tutoring, advisory, and intervention. It gives students personalized help and chances to do things outside of school.
