Casper, which is also called "The Oil City," is a central Wyoming city with a population of about 58,000. It is located along the North Platte River. The city has a great quality of life because it has a mix of industrial history and amazing outdoor activities. The district is known for its unique "Academy" model, which lets students focus on certain areas like engineering, health sciences, or the arts. Many programs have won state and regional awards for being the best in vocational training and sports.
