Lincoln High School has a long history of excellence in the performing arts. Recently, the Lincoln Patriot Marching Band represented South Dakota on a national stage. The new College and Career Access Program is also helping students. It gives them dedicated advisors to help them plan for college and apply for scholarships. The School Achievement through Libraries (SATL) Award also recently went to the school's library for its dedication to giving students access to high-quality digital and physical resources.
