The school threw a party not long ago to celebrate the start of its College and Career Access program. The goal of this new program is to help students and their families figure out their options after high school and get past any problems that might get in the way of their success. The library at Jefferson High School won a statewide award for excellence for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a big academic achievement. The school also encourages students to be leaders through the Hope Squad, a peer-to-peer mental health program that recently held its annual Hope Week to promote a supportive campus culture.
