The Aberdeen Area Chamber of Commerce recently gave the 2025 Community Impact Award to Aberdeen Central High School's ATEC Academy. This award honors the academy's important work in helping students get ready for careers and helping the local workforce grow. The school's Esports program is still the best in the state. Two of its teams will compete in the 2026 state tournament without losing a single game, and they will host the tournament on their own campus.
