Village Green Virtual is putting more emphasis on social-emotional health by teaming up with Hazel Health to offer counseling services to all students, both in person and online, starting in early 2025. The school also puts a lot of emphasis on getting students ready for college. Almost all of the seniors are taking dual-enrollment classes at the Community College of Rhode Island to earn college credits early. Also, the school's leaders recently went to the Rhode Island Cybersecurity Education Summit to add advanced digital safety and tech empowerment to the school's personalized blended learning model.
