The Blue Youth Program, which was made possible by a $94,589 grant from the Rhode Island Commerce Corporation, is a way for TIMES² STEM Academy to show its support for future innovators. This project, which was created with help from local partners, aims to give urban youth in Providence specialized STEM training and mentorship. Students are also still very dedicated to their education; they recently had the highest attendance rate in the state, with more than 99% of students showing up. The school is also adding a green-rated science program for middle school grades to its curriculum.
