The Apprenticeship Exploration School is expanding its project-based learning model by teaming up with local business leaders. This gives students direct access to pre-apprenticeship certifications in technical fields that are in high demand. The school just opened a new "Maker Space" classroom with high-tech 3D printing and digital design tools to help students with engineering problems. The campus is also celebrating its most recent group of students who finished their professional internships. They gained valuable work experience and earned academic credit toward graduation.
