In March 2026, Whitefish High School will start a big $33.7 million expansion project that will add more than 37,000 square feet of new classroom space, including 17 classrooms and a special wing for culinary arts and hospitality career and technical education. The new development also includes a big sports upgrade: a new 10-lane track and a 1,500-seat grandstand that will make it easier for people to get to and hold big events on campus. Students are also getting new academic options, such as AP Physics and the creative "Cursive Create" app, which won a national award in the 2026 Congressional App Challenge.
