About Charter School of Wilmington

The Charter School of Wilmington is a top public charter high school in Wilmington, Delaware. It offers a unique education to students in grades 9–12. The Charter School of Wilmington recently won the 2025 Samsung Solve for Tomorrow STEM competition, which gave them a $100,000 prize for making a smart hydrogel bandage that helps with monitoring wounds from a distance. The school's iGEM team also went to Paris in late 2024 to compete in a well-known international synthetic biology jamboree. The school also promotes student health through its Active School Program, which won the 2025 Advancing Healthy Lifestyles Healthy Schools Pioneer Award.
