The Delaware high school system has undergone planned reform rather than mass conversion, going from 126 schools and nearly 33,200 students enrolled across the state. The combination of an 89% graduation rate and strong accountability standards shows that the state has sound governance obtained by new investment in closing literacy and math gaps in the new FY2026.
