ArizonaGÇÖs education system provides families with more robust options, thanks to an expanding network of innovative charter, public, and private schools. Many of the premier elementary schools in Arizona thrive in a state with a lively school-choice ecosystem, in which more than 20% of students attend charter schools, and thousands of other students use Empowerment Scholarship Accounts to personalize their learning environments. Through a program called ElevateEd, Arizona is also focused on preparing students for the future by providing ways for classrooms to become informed about real-world career paths, as well as through statewide literacy initiatives intended to boost early childhood reading proficiency. Arizona has over 1.1M students enrolled in public and charter schools and continues expanding access for families that would like innovative and high-quality learning options.
