Providence Preparatory Charter received a renewal recommendation for continued operation in November 2025. The Rhode Island Commissioner of Education recommended that the Council on Elementary and Secondary Education approve a three-year charter renewal extending through the 2028–2029 school year. The recommendation allows the school to continue operating under its existing charter pending final council approval.
