Anchorage STrEaM Academy hosted a Dine to Donate event at Panda Express in November 2025. The school also organized a canned food drive to support the Food Bank of Alaska. Both efforts encouraged community participation and service.
Q1. What does Anchorage STrEaM Academy do to keep families up-to-date on what's going on at school?
Ans. The school uses Anchorage School District communication tools and school newsletters to send parents reminders, updates, and information about events so they don't have to guess.
Q2. What kinds of learning resources are there to help students do better in school?
Ans. Students can use district-approved academic resources and get help from their teachers, which gives them opportunities to better understand a topic when they need to.
Q3. How does the school get students to act responsibly?
Ans. Staff make clear what they expect and give students regular advice, which helps them learn how to act respectfully in everyday situations.
Q4. What kinds of tech tools help people learn?
Ans. District-managed digital platforms give students a structured way to keep track of their work, talk to their teachers, and take part in lessons that use technology.
Q5. Are there clubs or activities outside of school that students can join to learn more about their interests?
Ans. The school has a lot of enrichment programs that let students do activities that interest them and learn in ways that go beyond what they do in class.
