About Sheridan High School

Sheridan High School is one of the best schools in Wyoming. It is the main public school for about 1,050 students in grades 9–12. The school is in Sheridan County School District #2 and has a good student-to-teacher ratio of about 14:1. It is known as one of the best schools in the state, with 34% of students taking Advanced Placement classes. There are 12% of students who are minorities and 31% who are economically disadvantaged. Latest News

Sheridan High School was just added to the 2025 AP School Honor Roll. It got Silver status for its efforts to make advanced classes easier to get into and help students do well on college-level tests. The "We the People" team from the school reached a big goal this December when they won the Wyoming State Championship for 2025–26. This means that they will be able to represent the state at the national finals in Washington, D.C.
