Evanston High School is one of the best schools in Wyoming and is the main public secondary school in Uinta County School District #1. The school has about 750 students in grades 9 through 12 and a good student-to-teacher ratio of about 13:1. It is one of the best schools because it has a high level of academic rigor, as shown by the fact that 56% of students take Advanced Placement courses. We are so excited to announce the name of our new playground! Following a school-wide and Robinson community vote we narrowed a large list of names down to four. Since our students will be using the playground on a daily basis, we gave them the final vote! 476.....

Latest News

Evanston High School has successfully put into place a new "cellphone-free" policy for the 2025–26 school year. This has already led to students being more interested in reading and having more meaningful social interactions during the school day. The performing arts program is reaching new heights as the EHS Drama Devils get ready for their next show, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. This is a big deal for the students. The school also continues to celebrate its history of excellence. Recently, it announced a new class of inductees for the Evanston Hall of Fame.
