See top schools in MinotThe Minot Public Schools 9-12 Virtual Academy is one of the best schools for grades 9–12 that offers flexible, modern public education. It is one of four high school programs in the Minot Public Schools district and provides a digital learning environment for students who do better outside of a traditional classroom. Being Updated
The Virtual Academy is moving forward with its 2025–2026 Continuous Improvement Plan. The plan's main goal is to add more courses through the North Dakota Center for Distance Education to meet the needs of each student. The Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) will be used by the academy this year to put in place new ways to help students with their schoolwork so that they are ready for college and the job market. The district has also added ParentSquare, a new communication tool that lets virtual families get real-time updates and message staff directly in the language of their choice.
