Highland High School has recently added to its Career Technical Education (CTE) programs by opening a state-of-the-art agricultural mechanics lab. This lab gives students hands-on training in modern welding and fabrication. The school's Mock Trial team also got a lot of attention this spring for how well they did in the Kern County competitions, both in terms of their technical skills and their courtroom strategy. The campus is also starting a new College and Career Center program that will give seniors weekly workshops just for them to help them apply for scholarships and get financial aid.
