Bakersfield High School has a long history of great arts and sports, and the Driller Drama department recently won big at the 2025 PEAAK Awards for its great musical and non-musical plays. The Kern High Day initiative honors the district's long history while also looking forward to future developments on campus. The school is also getting ready for its Drillerpalooza in March 2026. This is an orientation event that will welcome new students with tours of the campus and demonstrations of activities.
