For the 2025–2026 school year, South Anchorage High School will offer a full set of Advanced Placement (AP) classes in all subject areas. This is because the school has successfully doubled its AP enrollment since the program started. Students are actively involved in special extracurricular activities like the Model United Nations, the Partners Club, and a Native Leadership Committee that help them become leaders and learn about the world. The school is also looking forward to its graduation ceremony on May 11, 2026, at the Alaska Airlines Center. This will be a chance to honor the accomplishments of its graduating seniors.
