A new partnership between UTRGV and a college academy has given students in the McAllen area more chances to learn. Students were welcomed to campus in 2024 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. It has since then offered advanced courses in health science, engineering, computer science, and other areas. Students can still do their regular schoolwork while they learn at the college level. Students who want to go to college or learn new skills can now do so more easily.
