Fred Assam Elementary is welcoming the season with a new sense of community and lots of exciting chances! The local parks and recreation department recently said that starting this winter, the school's gym will be open for free on weekends. This will give kids and families a safe, welcoming place to play basketball, volleyball, or just hang out after school. Inside the school, students are also getting a chance to shine outside of school. Two young artists from Fred Assam were chosen to have their work displayed in a statewide student-art exhibition. This event celebrates creativity and encourages all students to explore their talents.
