About Boulder Bluff Elementary School

Boulder Bluff Elementary School is one of the long-standing Elementary Schools in South Carolina, serving students in Pre-K through 5th grade since 1964. The school is well-renowned for its diligent focus on arts and academics, and has been a participant in “Arts in the Basic Curriculum” since 2001. Students at Boulder Bluff are successful academics and involved in the arts, both academically and as interest-based programs in a school with over 600 children. The school's diverse enrollment reflects our student body, over 70% are of many represented and unrepresented minority enrollment. Accessibility to learning opportunities is provided for all students in the school, through technology integration and learning through exploratory study in Art, Music, and courses other than the Core subjects. There are challenges in our communities' economy that face Boulder Bluff Elementary, but we safety can say you will be engaged in the community through our ability to be parent partners and local partners. A: You will be asked to provide proof of residence, a birth certificate for your child, immunization records and any records you have from their previous school. The school staff will help you with the process.

Q2: Does Boulder Bluff offer before/after school care?

A: Yes. They offer programs that include activities, homework assistance, and an organized place for your children to be safe during the time after school but before the parent can come to retrieve their child.

Q3: What is the facility like at Boulder Bluff?

A: Great. The classrooms are updated, general recreation is available, library, gym, computer labs, and a secure entrance. Great learning environment!

Q4: How do I assist at Boulder Bluff?

A: Parents can volunteer in the classroom, attend PTA meetings, volunteer for activities, and become involved in clubs. There are many opportunities for parents to be involved in supporting their child’s learning.
