In July 2025, Lansdowne Elementary opened its new 45-classroom building at 7200 Folger Drive (the original Lansdowne Elementary was built in 1959). The recently updated campus was needed to alleviate overcrowding at Elizabeth Lane Elementary and to accommodate the growth of students in the area. The entire project was completed on-time and on-budget for the total cost of $33.5 million.
