Corwin International Magnet School, located at 1500 Lakeview Avenue in Pueblo, Colorado, serves grades 4–8 as the only International Baccalaureate (IB) school in Southern Colorado. Established originally as Corwin Junior High in 1953 and named after Dr. Richard Corwin, its IB curriculum emphasizes rigorous, globally minded learning—pairing standard academics with Spanish, arts, and physical education. Students follow the IB Primary and Middle Years Programmes, reinforcing academic excellence and real-world relevance. The school maintains a strong school-wide commitment to professionalism through a uniform policy that includes dress shirts, ties, and pants, fostering an internationally aware culture. With approximately 565 students, Corwin also offers Gifted & Talented services and accelerated pathways like early Algebra. It delivers world-class, high-achievement learning in Pueblo’s urban core.
