About Haisley Elementary School

Haisley Elementary has established itself as a vibrant, innovative, and environmentally conscious elementary school. It has seen an established enrollment of approximately 389 students each year, with a strong 13:1 student–teacher ratio and high proficiency levels. In fact, the school ranks in the top 10% of all elementary schools in Michigan for science. Haisley Elementary was designed and built in 1954, though there are plenty of contemporary features, such as: solar panels, LED lighting, The school features an established after-school student theater group—the “Haisley Players”—and there is an active school garden where students have opportunities to engage with food and farming in a hands-on manner, as part of their lessons and curriculum. It has an approachable, inclusive culture and has established engaged parents that feel connected in their child's school, so it promotes a safe and warm learning environment where our young people can be successful learners, but grow socially and emotionally, also; a model Elementary Schools in Michigan.

A: To register your child you will need proof of residency in the Haisley district, proof of their birth (usually a birth certificate), immunization records, and if they have attended a school prior to Haisley, we request their enrollment papers.
