Concord, California is a busy suburban city in Contra Costa County with a population of over 130,000. Concord is a great place to live because it has parks, family-friendly neighborhoods, and a good location in the San Francisco Bay Area. There are a lot of public elementary schools in the Mount Diablo Unified School District, as well as a few private and charter schools. It is the main source of education for young children. Concord schools have a lot of different kinds of students and focus on academics, STEM programs, the arts, and activities outside of school. The state has given a few schools awards for their academic success.
