By 2025, Californias Middle Schools will be highly innovative and inclusive, fostering student growth. The many alternatives for middle school in California include public, charter, and magnet schools with many different enriched STEM Programs that incorporate Art Learning, as well as a Leadership Development program (Project-Based Learning). Also, the California School Dashboard provides parents with information about a school in addition to academic performance, including student engagement, student well-being, and equity for all students. Many of the best middle schools in California emphasize College Readiness, Digital Literacy, and problem-solving as part of a real-world experience in order to create an academic and personal development environment during these middle school years.
