Today we had a session about search engine optimization (SEO) and how to use keywords to rank well on search engines. It’s important to rank high on search engine results to help customers find your product. You can do this by using keywords. There are 3 types of keywords—short-tail, medium-tail, and long-tail. Short-tail keywords have the highest search volume, but also the highest amount of competitors and the lowest focus, while long-tail keywords have the lowest search volume, but few competitors and a good focus and conversion rate. There are many tools you can use to find better keywords and do competitor research, including Google Trends and Ubersuggests.
