Cloverdale Middle School is currently serving as the temporary home for the Little Rock School District's alternative learning education program following its official closure as a traditional middle school. Students formerly zoned for Cloverdale were successfully reassigned to the new Marian G. Lacey Academy for the current academic year. The district is continuing to explore future community partnerships for the repurposing of the historic Cloverdale campus.
