Magnolia's elementary schools are typical of a rapidly growing suburban area with about 3,000 people living there. However, the larger Magnolia area, located in Montgomery County, is significantly more expansive. Magnolia is northwest of Houston and has a quieter lifestyle while still being close to city amenities. Magnolia Independent School District is the main school district for the city.
