About Miller Elementary School

Miller Elementary School, established in 1956 in Warner Robins, Georgia, honors Commissioner Thomas Miller and embraces the motto of nurturing globally competitive learners. Serving Pre-K through 5, the Rockets wear navy, orange, and white as school colors and benefit from a Gifted & Talented program. The mission emphasizes academic, technical, social, and emotional excellence, reinforcing a comprehensive approach to student growth. Recognized as a Georgia School of Excellence in 1990 and a Title I Distinguished School in 2009, it later earned the 2024 Literacy Banner for third- and fifth-grade growth. In March 2025, Miller Elementary was placed under a Code Yellow alert following a nearby violent family-related incident. The school returned to normal operations shortly thereafter, underlining its preparedness and focus on student well-being.
